When describing the idea behind the Quatrefoil table, Jonas Herman of Herman Studio said, "the aim was to create an interesting shadow effect where four legs meet each other in a symmetric line"; at first glance, the legs appear to intersect, but Herman Studio has left free space in between, adding a visual lightness to the table.
The legs are positioned to allow comfortable seating around the table and provide ample space for each user, making the table suitable for small spaces, both domestic and commercial.
