Panto Pendant Light
Panto Pendant Light by Verner Panton for Verpan.
While exploring Venice, Italy, Verner Panton was captivated by the enchanting glow of the city's old street lamps. This fascination fuelled his creativity, leading to the inception of the VP Globe in 1969, a design aimed at replicating the same distinctive glow.
Almost a decade later, in 1977, Panton produced the Panto pendant—a development on the VP globe with four white reflectors suspended by three steel chains.
The decorative pendant showcases a crystal clear transparent acrylic outer sphere with white reflectors interrupted by a hidden splash of red, visible only from viewing the bottom of the pendant.
