M De Lucchi + H Ubbens

De Lucchi studied architecture in Florence. Michele De Lucchi played an influential role during the time of radical experimental architecture, being part of the Cavart, Alchimia and Memphis movements. He has designed modern and industrial lamps and furniture for a number of prominent European manufacturers including Artemide, Olivetti and Alias. Also, De Lucchi has been instrumental in a number of architectural projects including the city of Milan: the pavilions for Expo 2015. 

Huub Ubbens founded studio Huub in 2005, dedicated to designing classic and timeless products. Working with a number of well-known companies including Panasonic, BBB Italia, Artemide, they have created a number of versatile furniture and lighting. Providing services in product design, art direction and lighting design, Huub Ubbens has continued to innovate. Huub Ubbens was the head designer in Milan for Artemide, collaborating with designers including Vico Magistretti and Michele De Lucci. 

Together De Lucci and H Ubbens developed a concept and production of the Castore lighting range.
