Woodnotes

Woodnotes is a Finnish company established in 1987 by Ritva Puotila and her son Mikko. The company aimed to combine Finland's natural beauty with advanced technologies, using simple Finnish raw materials such as wood and paper. Woodnotes was the first company to use paper yarn in functional textiles, selecting the material for its unique properties rather than as a substitute for other materials.

Sustainability is central to the Woodnote's values. Their paper yarn products are biodegradable and environmentally friendly. They produce their white paper without chlorine gas and use dyes without halogen-organic compounds or heavy metals.

The company's exceptional products have earned them numerous international awards and reflect Finnish design's simplicity and functionality.

twentytwentyone is the exclusive agent of Woodnotes in the UK.
