Wednesday Architecture

Copenhagen-based design studio Wednesday Architecture was founded by Lise Bjerre Schmidt and Sofie Trier Mørk in 2013. Both designers studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts each has a background in fine arts that continues to inform their design approach.

Their work is defined by its sculptural qualities with a particular focus on the use of wood, employing traditional steam-bending techniques to create forms that are both functional and architectural.

Wednesday Architecture has produced a range of designs for the Fritz Hansen Objects collection, including the Stack trays.
