Soborg Mobelfabrik

The Danish furniture manufacturer Soborg Mobelfabrik was founded in 1890 and has been constantly making high quality furniture ever since.

Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, the company worked with Danish furniture designers to experiment with and manufacture furniture. The companies furniture was also exhibited at the annual exhibitions of the Copenhagen Guild of Joiners - exhibitions that laid the foundations for the internationally recognised concept of Danish design.

Design combined with fine furniture craftsmanship still forms the basis of the company's activities. They continue to produce designs by Bernt, Børge Mogensen, Christian Hvidt, Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen, Mogens Lassen amongst others.
