20 favourite homeware designs on display at Upper Street

Currently on display at twentytwentyone’s Upper Street shop, a display of 20 favourite homeware designs launched – and re-launched – over the past two decades.

This edit of classic and contemporary designs for the home ranges from bowls made of finely milled concrete and hand-carved wooden hooks to the textile designs of Lucienne Day and Robin Day’s Tricorne tray.

Wallpaper Design Award 2012

twentytwentyone are extremely proud to have been recognised with a Wallpaper Design Award 2012. The Robin Day Reclining chair was awarded Best Reissue. The authoritative panel of judges were selecting from an international field, so the award is a great honour. It reflects the quality and longevity of Robin Day’s design.

twentytwentyone will reproduce a Robin Day classic. The Reclining chair was originally designed in 1952 and considered by Day to be one of his most successful and iconic designs. The high comfort levels and clearly articulated structure fulfilled Robin Day’s design sensibilities.
