Art Deco London map published by Blue Crow Media in association with the Twentieth Century Society.
The Art Deco London map is Blue Crow's second guide to London's architectural heritage, following its Brutalist London map. It identifies more than 70 fine examples of Art Deco architecture in London, pinpointing buildings that were at the vanguard of design and construction technology at the time of building and which remain design icons to this day.
This elegantly designed fold-out guide has been published in collaboration with the Twentieth Century Society and features photographs by Simon Phipps and an introduction to Art Deco by Henrietta Billings.
The buildings featured include London landmarks such as Broadcasting House, Senate House, 55 Broadway and a selection of Underground stations designed by Charles Holden.
The Art Deco London Map celebrates an important aspect of the design heritage of Great Britain and is intended to encourage the appreciation and preservation of a diverse and special collection of buildings. Use to conduct your own walking tours or hang it in a frame.
