The Sofa Collection includes an armchair, two-seater, three-seater and four-seater, asymmetric and L-shape sofas, ottomans and stools.
Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby presented this project, their first for Knoll, at the Salone del Mobile 2013, as Knoll celebrated their 75th anniversary.
Each piece of this extensive range contrasts and balances the soft (curves) with the architectural (stitched seams). As Barber Osgerby put it: “Given a sofa's scale and prominence in a room, we felt the pieces should be formally balanced and calm, expressing their character through details.”
Each piece sits on distinctive cast aluminium feet that slide between its upholstered elements, connecting them together.

Materials
Cast aluminium legs in a chrome finish or lacquered in red or black. More powder coated available on request, please enquire. Legs have adjustable nylon glide Inner frame is 7/8" plywood
Upholstered in fabrics and leathers of the collection. Seat, back and arms feature various foam densities for enhanced comfort. Elastic webbing seat suspension with foam-supported sit through feature at the cushion breaks
