The drawings of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are highly regarded as both tools in their design process and as an artistic insight to their creativity. Their retrospective at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Paris in 2013 assembled a large cross section of works. Their drawings have been published in a dedicated book, ‘Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec Drawing’. twentytwentyone have partnered Wrongshop in the launch and sale of two series of limited edition prints.
The twentytwentyone bag series was conceived following their ‘Bags of Goodwill’ exhibition in 2007. The charitable event marked the company’s shift from plastic bags to paper and cloth bags and raised funds for the Fairtrade Foundation. Previous bags have been designed by Robin Day, Industrial facility, Lucienne Day, Barber Osgerby and Jasper Morrison.
The twentytwentyone cloth tote is produced in a batch of 1500 in fair-trade cotton. Available to buy at £8.50 or free with purchases over £100.
