A limited edition of three new framed prints by celebrated artist and designer Nathalie du Pasquier.
Each print is produced in an edition of 35, printed in mineral based archival inks with resin on 310gsm Hahnemuhle Museum Etching paper and embossed with du Pasquier's monogram. All prints are window-mounted in a solid oak frame with bevelled edge.
Of the current edition of prints, du Pasquier says: "LA PO RI, RI PO LA, PO RI LA, LA RI PO, RI LA PO, PO LA RI... are 3 prints dating from the beginning of this year. LA does not mean Los Angeles. PO is a river in the north of Italy, near where I live. RI is only a sound. These prints are supposed to decorate modern homes with good taste."
Nathalie Du Pasquier is neither an architect nor a designer. She arrived in Milan during 1979 and established herself as a textile designer. A founder member of the Memphis group, she abandoned design in 1987 to dedicate herself to painting.
Her themes are mainly objects or landscapes of objects. More recently, her paintings and drawings represent constructions which she builds from abstract elements to create compelling and impossible structures which can only exist in two dimensions.
