The Hulsø shelf was originally designed by Finn Juhl for Magister W. Andersen's "Winter Garden" at Hulsø Ege in Denmark. Upon discovering the shelf through archival watercolours and precise technical drawings by Finn Juhl dated 1949, the shelf has been recreated for production 75 years later by House of Finn Juhl.
The organic shapes of the shelf challenge the conventional notion of a shelf as merely a backdrop for the objects it displays, instead acting as an aesthetic object in its own right. Arranged together, the curves of the Hulsø shelf flow into one continuous cohesive expression, bringing both a sculptural and functional element to your wall.
