Established in the early 1990s as a manufacturer of one-off furniture pieces, Kevin Stamper has since shifted his focus to primarily producing smaller items such as decorative wooden boxes.
He has developed a unique technique of hand-dying wood veneer that enables the dye to penetrate wholly through the surface, meaning there is no loss of colour when the material is sanded back.
When finished with a lacquer, these colours adopt a bright, deep tone that cannot typically be attained using regular dyed veneers.

Materials
The box is crafted from solid fumed oak, whilst the veneers on the lid are fumed oak and hand-dyed sycamore.
