Rooted in a thorough analysis of the reflective qualities of light, Poul Henningsen's PH 5 light is recognised as a classic of Danish design. It is notable for its innovative glare-free form and uniform illumination.
Henningsen developed the PH 5 pendant light in 1958 in response to bulb manufacturers' constant changes to the shape and size of incandescent bulbs. The light derives its name from the 50cm diameter of the shade. Irrespective of how the light is installed or the light source used, the PH 5 is entirely glare-free due to Henningsen's ingenious three-shade system.
The two new pastel colour ways are designed in response to the post-pandemic period as a way to build more calming and embracing spaces in the home. The relaxing and soothing pastel colours perfectly complement the austere silhouettes and lines of minimalist and bold interiors alike.

Materials
The shade and reflectors are made of spun aluminium, with rolled aluminium struts.
The PH 5 pastel is available in two colour combinations: oyster blue rose and blue rose peach.
Supplied with ceiling cone and 3m white textile cable. Max weight: 3kg
Light source: 1x75W E27 bulb (not included). IP 20 rating.
