Leach Pottery

Leach Pottery is managed by the Bernard Leach Trust, a charity set up in 2004 to celebrate and educate in the life and works of Bernard Leach, the "father of British studio pottery".

The charity has preserved Leach's former home and workspace and now houses a working ceramics studio, gallery and museum in Higher Stennack, St Ives, Cornwall.

The Leach Pottery was founded by Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada in 1920 and revered around the world. Its legacy protected as the hand-crafted Leach Standard Ware pottery continues to be produced and taught to new generations of potters.
