Richard Lampert found a photograph of the small and compact lounge chair in a book about Herbert Hirche. The German architect and designer had created the chair in 1955 when only a limited number of pieces had been produced. Re-launched by Richard Lampert in 2017.
The H55 lounge chair has a tubular steel frame available powder-coated black or chromed against a surcharge. Upholstered seat shell available in the following fabrics: Rohi 'Sera' Lampert fabric in pepper, marmo, mare, verde, mirage or arancio colourways; Velour in the colours grass green, graphite or chocolate brown; Hallingdal fabric by Kvadrat.
