Canapo rocking chaise longue by Franco Albini for Cassina.

Franco Albini was a major figure in the Rationalist Movement, excelling in architectural, furniture, industrial and museum design. In all his work Franco Albini instilled a logical consistency, an extreme purity of expression and exceptional ethical and historical integrity.

Canapo rocking chaise longue with supporting frame in solid ashwood. Available in natural ashwood, ashwood stained slate colour or walnut stained mahogany. The fabric support in ecru is attached with cords to the frame which produce a graphic motif along the sides. The polyurethane cushion, upholstered in a range of fabrics or leathers, is divided into sections and can be folded.
