The Fauteuil A56 outdoor chair is designed by Jean Pauchard, son of Xavier Pauchard (designer of the Chaise A Tolix chair). Crafted from sheet steel, this classic chair is solid, light and easy to maintain.
Xavier Pauchard was an early pioneer of galvanisation in France. In 1927 he registered the trademark Tolix, when he began the production of chairs, stools and metal furniture.
The chair is also stackable for easy storage.
Available in the following finishes: painted (gloss, matt and matt fine-textured) and Les Couleurs Le Corbusier.
Painted gloss is a high shine and reflective finish. Matt painted finish gives the chair an understated appearance. Matt fine-textured paint improves UV resistance, making it suitable for outdoor use.
Please note: it is advised that only chairs with matt fine-textured finish be used outdoors.
Les Couleurs Le Corbusier are a selection from the 'Architectural Polychromy of Le Corbusier'. Le Corbusier created two sensational colour collections - in 1931 and 1959. Based on nature, all colours are naturally harmonious. Each colour can be impressively combined with each other.
