The No. 1 seating family was designed by Børge Mogensen in 1955, the first seating sofa family he designed as Fredericia's newly installed house designer. The range includes a lounge chair, and two-seat and three-seat sofas.
The No. 1 sofa has an upholstered wood frame providing support for loose seat and back cushions, balancing exceptional comfort with a minimal, streamlined structure.
Wooden frame, hand-upholstered body and interchangeable buttoned cushions. Chair body and cushions can be uphostered in the same fabric or in contrasting material.
Solid oak legs available in clear lacquered, oiled, black lacquered finishes. Oiled smoked oak legs also available.
Available in two- and three-seat sizes.
Cushion buttons are matched to fabric, but may be ordered in leather or in another colour contrasting with cushion fabric. Please enquire for details.
