The 13Eighty chair derives its name from the number of holes in its moulded polypropylene shell. Suited to both indoor and outdoor use, these perforations are designed to allow rainwater to drain away when the chair is used outdoors.
The design of the 13Eighty chair was developed over two years, with a continual refinement of the design to maximise flexibility and comfort while maintaining durability and practicality.
"Plastic is an interesting material," says designer Stephan Scholten, "but very hard, which gives this perforation its special texture."
Suitable for outdoor use. Stackable.
A side chair version without armrests is also available.

Materials
Injection-mounded solid-coloured polypropylene seat, 18mm bent steel tube powder-coated legs with standard glider.
Available in chalk white with grey white legs, graphite black with soft black legs, and soft blue with pure grey legs.
