The Mix chair is the result of a sophisticated geometric exercises and features a series of convex and concave curves that repeat and mirror one another in the frame and armrests. To contrast the flowing form of the seat, the solid wood legs are kept square, with the back legs gently sloping back to support the chair’s slightly reclined profile.
The Mix chair is a great example of Klint’s signature design approach, using geometry and mathematics to achieve ideal shapes, proportions and balance, and has earned iconic status among collectors.
The frame is made from solid wood and is available in oak (soaped, clear lacquered, oiled, white oiled or black lacquered) or walnut (lacquered or oiled). Seat and back in flame retardant cold foam CMHR. Cushions in European down. Upholstered in leathers of the collecton. Please see pdf’s in ‘Product downloads' for the different wood finishes and how to care for them, as well as the leathers available. All material samples are also available to view at our shop or showroom.
