AJ Eklipta wall/ceiling light by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen.

AJ Eklipta was originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1959 for Rødovre Town Hallin, where they were used to illuminate stairways. A smaller 22cm diameter was later designed for St. Catherine’s College in England.

AJ Eklipta provides soft and comfortable lighting. The construction of the glass ensures an evenly lit surface. The three-layer mouth blown glass shade has a clear edge, creating a halo of light around the perimeter.

White opal glass shade and white powder coated aluminium ceiling/wall block.

Available in two sizes, large and small. The small size may be mounted on either wall or ceiling while the large size is available in wall only variants.

The wall-mounted option features holes for side cables in the mounting block, while wall/ceiling and ceiling only variants have no holes for cables.
