Omkstak chair by Rodney Kinsman for OMK 1965.

The Omkstak chair is a classic of British design, created by Rodney Kinsman in 1972 and included in the permanent collections of twentieth-century furniture at V&A, the Design Museum in London and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Combining functionality and simplicity in a form that celebrates the materials and technologies used in its manufacture, the Omkstak chair is considered an exemplar of the hi-tech design era.

A minimal tubular steel frame supports a seat and back made of pressed steel with emphatic circular perforations. The resulting structure is lightweight, extremely durable and suited to use as an indoor and outdoor chair.

Available in Jet black, Silver grey, Capri blue, Pure white, Traffic red, Dahlia yellow, Salmon pink and Turquoise blue.

An Omkstak classic chair with chrome frame and coloured seat and back is also available.
