Polypropylene armchair designed by Robin Day for Hille.

The Polypropylene armchair was launched in 1967 following the dramatic success of the Polypropylene side chair. Its rolled edges ensure that the fixings are kept out of sight from the front view and the generously wide seat with built in arms makes it incredibly comfortable.

The Armchair, as with the majority of Day’s Polypropylene shell designs, featured the same fixing points enabling the shell to be fitted to the numerous bases he designed as well as beam and swivel chair options. The most popular version was on the original A frame base which can be supplied in a chrome or powder-coated finish.

Polypropylene seat shell available in the colours flame, light grey, dark grey, blue, ebony, orange and acid green. Base powder coated in the colours white, light grey, dark grey, black, flint and silver/chrome effect, or chromed against a surcharge.

Please note; minimum order is 4 chairs.
