PP56 Chinese chair, 1989
PP 56 Chinese chair designed by Hans Wegner for PP Mobler.
Wegner presented his PP66 in 1943 at Kunsthåndværkets Spring Exhibition. Inspired by an old Chinese chair, there have been several versions of the chair. The 2-metre steam-bent pole was replaced in 1991 by a stronger pre-compressed one.

Available in oak, ash or cherry in the following finishes: soap treated, clear bio oil, white bio oil, lacquered, black oil or black lacquered.
