When designing the Aarhus City Hall, Arne Jacobsen and Erik Møller were compelled to create a clock tower after public outcry that it had been purposefully omitted from the original plans. The elegant Roman clock went on to be produced for the home, now faithfully reproduced in acordance with the original concept drawings by Rosendahl.
The monochrome clock has Roman numeral indices and delicate hand needles, its timeless Skandinavian style suits most environments. Like many of Jacobsen’s wall clocks, this features a concave mineral glass face and a slightly extruded base to appearance as though floating when mounted on the wall.
