Moragas armchair, 1957

Moragas armchair by Antoni de Moragas for Santa + Cole.

Designer and architect Antoni de Moragas was at the forefront of Spain's post-War architectural rejuvenation. He drew on his creative foresight to imagine the mass production of products before this was the norm, thereby designing functional, affordable pieces with unique form.

This chair was designed by Moragas for his own home, before being reissued by Santa & Cole in 1992 to wide acclaim. It features a high back and broad seat, enclosed by the curvature of the chair's wings to maximise comfort.

A matching ottoman is also available: please enquire for details.
