Spring Beech Leaf print by Superfolk.
Superfolk's range of products are inspired by outdoor living and the natural world and are crafted using the finest natural materials and time-honoured techniques.
The Spring Beech Leaf art print is part of a collection of botanical prints inspired by the plantlife along the coastline of County Mayo in Ireland, where Superfolk's studio is located. All prints are designed and hand-printed by Superfolk founder, artist and printmaker Jo Anne Butler.
Butler's trademark rich use of colour and bold graphic form lend a modern edge to traditional botanical illustration, resulting in a print that will delight naturalists and design enthusiasts alike.
With its bright colouring and verdant foliage, the Spring Beech Leaf print is a testament to the optimism and growth promised by Spring. As Jo Anne Butler observes, "watching the buds of the Beech tree unfurl into delicate fresh green leaves is one of the most powerful signals of the renewal of Spring."
