Astier de Villatte

Astier de Villatte offers a distinctively Parisian take on luxury, drawing inspiration from the forms and patterns of the eighteenth and nineteenth century and exploring these influences in a very modern way. Established in 1996 by furniture and ceramic designers Ivan Pericoli and Benoît Astier de Villatte, Astier de Villatte is the only major ceramics factory to continue the tradition of the old Parisian workshops, operating out of a building that was once home to Napoleon's silversmith.

Astier de Villatte's trademark is its exquisite white-glazed ceramic tableware which is hand-crafted from black terracotta using a special technique that deliberately preserves surface textural imperfections and proclaims its artisanal heritage. It's luxury candles and incense are also available from twentytwentyone, alongside handmade notebooks whose pages feature a luxurious gilt-edging.
