Hugo Passos

Portuguese-born designer Hugo Passos designs objects and furniture that are as pleasing in form as they are in use.

He worked as a design assistant for Fredrikson Stallard, contributing to projects for the Swarovski Crystal Palace, Bernhardt Design, Droog Design and the David Gill Galleries before founding his own design studio.

Passos’ work is underpinned by a profound fascination with the human scale of everyday objects and a commitment to the principle that the resulting designs must "do what they are supposed to do".
