Jaime Hayon

Madrid-born artist and designer Jaime Hayon was born in 1974. He trained in industrial design in Madrid and Paris before joining Fabrica, the Italian design and communications agency set up by Benneton where he became director of the design department.


In 2000 Hayon established his own design studio and has undertaken a range of commissions including interior and furniture and product design as well as artworks, watches and lighting.


His work has been recognised with numerous accolades, with Time magazine listing him as one of the 100 most relevant creative talents in contemporary design.


His recent designs include a set of candlesticks for the Fritz Hansen Objects collection of home accessories.
