Nendo

Taking the japanese word for 'clay' as its company name, Nendo strives to conceive of designs that are as as pliable, flexible and organic as the material it is named after.

Headed-up by award-winning architect Oki Sato, Nendo does away with self-indulgent design in favour of a simple, spontaneous, and playful alternative. In Sato's words, Nendo designs are about 'what kind of story you can find behind the object, whether it's product or architecture.'

Since 2002, Nendo has received multiple international awards, including Designer of the Year 2016 at the Brussels Design show.
