Artek and Vitra: a partnership built on affinity

Two of our favourite manufacturers joined forces today:  Vitra acquired the Finnish company Artek.

Proventus CEO Daniel Sachs, former owner of Artek, explains the decision of the transaction: “Vitra has the ideal corporate culture, know-how and industrial resources to take Artek to the next level.”

Wallpaper Design Award 2012

twentytwentyone are extremely proud to have been recognised with a Wallpaper Design Award 2012. The Robin Day Reclining chair was awarded Best Reissue. The authoritative panel of judges were selecting from an international field, so the award is a great honour. It reflects the quality and longevity of Robin Day’s design.

Robin designed the chair in 1952, and always considered it to be one of his most successful designs. It offers high levels of comfort, and read more…
