The Rey chair is the result of a collaboration between HAY and the renowned Swiss manufacturer Dietiker. Originally designed by Bruno Rey in 1971, the Rey collection of chairs, stools and tables is unified by its iconic silhouette.
The Rey chair is a stackable chair which balances lightness, strength, and functionality. The minimal, yet distinct design features rounded edges and curved backrest. Designed with resilience and flexible properties, it was the first chair to be patented with Dietiker’s innovative screw-less wood-to-metal connection and has become one of the most successful Swiss chairs of all time.
Available in original colours, as well as new tones and material combinations to accommodate contemporary lifestyle requirements, the Rey chair is effortlessly adaptable to public and private spaces.
