The Opala floor light was one of three Opala lamps originally designed for Hotel Scandinavia in Copenhagen. The pendant was sold for many years both for offices, public buildings, private homes, and large projects like the Churchill College in Cambridge designed by architect Henning Larsen.

Materials
Shade manufactured in impact-resistant, opal high-gloss acrylic, top in wet painted aluminium, stand in high gloss chrome or brass, base in wet painted solid steel. The impact-resistant acrylic shade contains rubber, ensuring it gives out a warm glow regardless of the bulb used.
Available in black, white, light grey, red, dark green or dark blue.
Bulb:
E27 Max 75W or similar size LED light bulb
Standard model equipped with dimmer switch on cord. Non-dimmable switch available upon request for use with flourescent bulbs.
