Rainer Bachschmid

German Designer Rainer Bachschmid originally trained as a carpenter. 

This background has given him a craftsman's approach to design, and his passion for raw, organic materials and wood in particular is clearly embodied in his designs.

Working from his studio in Switzerland, Bachschmid creates functional and beautiful furniture for manufacturer DK3 amongst others.
