LC1 chair by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand for Cassina.

The LC1 chair is a genuine classic of modern design, displaying the refined functional aesthetic that is the hallmark of Perriand, Jeanneret and Le Corbusier's work.

Lightweight and perfectly balanced, the LC1 has a tubular steel frame which supports the sling seat and armrests.

Frame available chrome-plated or in semi-gloss black enamel.

Seat and matching armrests are available in selected Cassina leathers; see product downloads for details.

Seat also available in black or black/brown/white cowhide with black leather armrests. Please note that it is not possible to specify the particular combination of colours that may feature in the mixed colour cowhide.

Following the launch of the LC1 chair in 1928, the design was reconfigured for presentation at the 1930 exhibition of the Union of Modern Artists. The UAM LC1 was presented with a seat made of ecru canvas trimmed with natural leather.
