Fato Table Lamp, 1969
Designed by Gio Ponti in 1969, the Fato table lamp utilises geometrical metal screens to create areas of light and dark, screen and void. Enclosed in a square frame, the Fato is a lighting sculpture that is heavily influenced by 1960s design.
The Fato can also be used as a wall light and works equally well as a display piece or practical light.
