Danish furniture designer Børge Mogensen designed the Deck Chair Series in the late 1960s as a response to his personal need for functional and comfortable outdoor furniture that occupied the minimum of space. The BM5568 Deck Chair is an inviting chair great for relaxing on outdoors with its wooden slats designed to support the natural curves of the human body.
Designed with an ample, reclining seat and a structure angled for maximum support, the chair comes with a padded fabric cushion for extra support. The practical and adaptable chair can effortlessly be moved and can be flat packed to be stored away or hung on a wall.
Made from untreated, FSC™-certified teak, the chair features a timeless aesthetic with clear stylistic references to the American Shakers and 19th Century English furniture design.
The BM5568 deck chair can be hung on the wall for storage using the BM5270 wall mount.
