Part of the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016 is Le Corbusier’s Capitol Complex, created in Chandigarh in 1951, the architectural icon was designed in celebration of the independence of a nation.
Among the furniture used in the Legislative Assembly building is this bench, is a hommage to Pierre Jeanneret. The base is made up of two structural and graphic solid wood pieces with its characteristic “corns entrecroisées” shape.
