Theia P, 2016
Theia P floor light by Mathias Hahn for Marset.
Named after the Greek goddess Theia, the mother of the sun, the moon, and the dawn, this striking floor lamp was devised to showcase the beauty of light and our fascination with it.
From light to shadow with a single gesture: Swivel the lampshade to uncover the light and use it as a reading light or cover the bulb to turn it into ambient light.
Theia's design consists of two half-spheres intersecting each other - one horizontal and the other vertical. This design allows light to be projected, reflected, and absorbed by objects, much like in the natural world.
Available in white or black.
