Michel Charlot
Michel Charlot is an award-winning Swiss industrial designer born in 1984 in Lausanne. He graduated from ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne in Switzerland in 2009 and went on to work for Jasper Morrison Ltd. In 2011, he established his own practice and has since designed products for companies such as Vitra, Muji, Camper and Kettal.
Michel Charlot's ultimate goal is to create intuitive products that are efficient in conception, production, and design. From 2013 to 2022, he was an industrial design professor at ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne. In 2013, his first product designed with Belux, U-turn, won the prestigious "Design Preis Schweiz" and "Swiss Design Award".
