This spectacular, triple-scale version of the classic Anglepoise Original 1227 light was first created for the Roald Dahl Museum, in tribute to the celebrated author's fondness for this light. Dahl used the standard version of the Anglepoise 1227 at his writing desk.
The Giant 1227 light combines the high-quality fittings and expertly engineered features that are as standard with Anglepoise. Released in 2005, its elegant, classic looks make it a hugely practical piece of lighting that can genuinely be described as a design icon.

Materials
The aluminium shade is power-coated in an extensive range of colour options, from bold to subtle, ensuring a perfect fit with a variety of settings. The arms, joints and fittings are all aluminium and the light incorporates Anglepoise's signature constant tension spring technology.
The square base of the lamp is set on castors for ease of movement. The shade can be locked into position for security. Cable is fabric covered.
Available in either Satin or Gloss finish.
Gloss Finish: available in Jet Black with black cable braid, Alpine White with grey cable braid, Citrus Yellow with black cable braid, Crimson Red with black cable braid, Marine Blue with black cable braid, and Slate grey with grey cable braid.
Satin Finish: available in Jet Black with black cable braid.
Bulb (included): 13W E27 G120 LED bulb.
