Design duo Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec sought to reinvigorate the whole idea of a sofa. The Can range strips away the traditional sofa's inherently complicated form to create something simple, relaxed and accessible.
The Can is a lightweight, customisable self-assembly series. The sides and back of the seat are formed from panels of material stretched across the supporting tubular steel framework, for an elegant and comfortable design.

The three-seater sofa comes flat-packed and can be easily assembled at home. The cushions can be removed for the furniture to double as a sofa bed. Available in various muted finishes, also comes as a lounge chair or two-seater versions. Please see 'Product range' below.

Materials
Sofa formed of three basic elements; a frame assembled from steel tubing, a set of foam and feather cushions upholstered in fabric or leather with black leather piping, and a strong canvas sling to provide rigidity and form.
Powder coated steel frame available in black and chrome. Canvas sling available in black and natural.
