Part of the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016 is Le Corbusier’s Capitol Complex, created in Chandigarh in 1951, the architectural icon was designed in celebration of the independence of a nation.
Among the furniture used in the Legislative Assembly building is this large conference table, an hommage to Pierre Jeanneret. The base is made up of two structural and graphic solid wood pieces with its characteristic “corns entrecroisées” shape. The juxtaposition between the materials used creates a staple dining table with modern qualities.
