In 2024, &Tradition partnered with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation to reintroduce several of Robin Day's most celebrated designs.
Having won first place in the storage section of the MoMA International Low-Cost Furniture Competition in 1948, Day was inspired to design a flexible and democratic furniture collection suited for compact living spaces.
The Daystak Table forms part of Robin Day's first collection for Hille, designed in 1951. The adaptable design is crafted from durable materials to suit the proportions of typical homes and can be transformed into a desk with the addition of the Daystak drawer. Sharing the Daystak collection's distinctive A-frame legs, the table has a unique stacking capability and is stackable up to 3 tables.
