Floatation
Floatation by Ingo Maurer for Ingo Maurer.
During the 1970s and 1980s, Ingo Maurer designed a series of lights crafted from Japanese paper in simple forms. Following a rise in the use of plastic, Maurer's collection signified a desire to return to natural materials.
Floatation consists of three delicately crinkled Japanese paper shades that produce a warm, softly distributed light, with the lightness of the chosen materials creating the illusion that the pendant is floating.
Flotation is available in 3 sizes, each with adjustable height. The light's height can easily be adjusted by raising the red iron ring to lower the shade or by lifting the shade.
