Designed by the Bouroullec brothers for the Japanese brand, Koyori, the Musubi chair combines Japanese craftsmanship with the French design duo's contemporary aesthetic.
A solid and durable seat, Musubi boasts a unique dented effect between the back, armrest and legs, achieved using a combination of carving, wood-bending and 5-axis NC cutting techniques.
The gentle curves of Musubi's back and armrest contrast beautifully with the legs' straight lines, which are positioned at an angle at the chair's rear, emphasising the seat's sculptural silhouette.
