The Offcuts collection from design studio Mentsen is a collection of household objects crafted from surplus odds and ends of timber from previous projects, producing beautiful and functional objects out of material that would otherwise go to waste. The collection also offers a fresh perspective from which to approach the design process, starting with an assessment of the materials available.
The Offcuts Bread Board is made from ash offcuts and is finished with linseed oil. The oiled finish enhances the natural properties of the ash, showcasing and celebrating the wood grain and markings that make each board unique.
