Perfect for indoor and outdoor use (IP54), the Quasar lamp from Petite Friture is a portable light designed by designer Samy Rio. Developed over the span of two years, the lights blend craftsmanship with quality industrial design. The name is derived from the astronomy term Quasar which stands for the brightest of all celestial bodies.
Made from anodized aluminium, the portable lamp is available in two colours. Each colour is paired with its own unique cord with which the lamp can be easily hung and moved about for a bit of playfulness.
Use it indoors as a desk lamp or in the living room area for extra personality. It can also be used as a calming nightlight, outdoor patio light, veranda light, or pool area light.
The quality charging cord and long battery life make Quasar a truly portable light that can be moved about throughout the day or even hung outdoors.
The light features a dimmer function that allows for three light temperatures and three light intensities.

Materials
A long lasting product made with recyclable materials. Corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium body with a rot-proof and UV resistant polyester cord.
Made with 20% recycled aluminium. ABS stand is also made using recycled materials (25% recycled).
Battery powered lamp, integrated LED lights, IRC >85.
Luminous power: 200 Lm of input and 150 Lm of output (perceived light).
Light temperatures include: 2200 K (hot white), 3000 K (warm white), 4000 K (cool white)
For each light temperature, 3 light intensities are possible (100%, 50%, 25%).
A 1m long micro USB-C charger cable is included.
Charging time : 4h30 (0 to 100%).
Quasar comes with a 1-meter cord that is tied into a beautiful knot. The cord can also be untied and closed by 2 metal tips to be suspended 50 cm high.
Quasar has an IP rating of 54, meaning it is protected against dust and water splashes. It is not waterproof and should not be stored outside.
